Encourage eye contact by holding objects next to your face before giving it to your child.
Allow your child to take part in a shared game or shared play with his/her siblings or family at least once every day.
Warn your child 2 minutes before an activity will finish. Count to 10 together and say, “It’s finished”. - Corne Engels
Sing action songs together to encourage your child to copy simple movements.
When your child becomes over stimulated you can do deep pressure on his/her shoulders, arms, hands, legs and feet.
Create at least one opportunity for your child to make a choice every day.
Provide some sensory stimulation on cold days by playing together with warm soapy water and straws.
